Job Title: Home Tutor – English & Math (For Grade 4 & Grade 7 Students)

Location: Warje, Pune
Timing: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Commitment: Minimum 12 months preferred

About the Learners:

You will be tutoring two bright and motivated homeschoolers:

• Son (12 yrs) – Grade 7 equivalent, enjoys football, music (piano), and outdoor learning
• Daughter (9 yrs) – Grade 4 equivalent, interested in art & craft, attending activity classes, curious about learning musical instruments
• Both students are following a customised, project-based learning path aligned with NEP 2020 and have structured weekly and daily study plans.

Subjects to Teach:

• English: Grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, creative writing, spoken fluency
• Mathematics: Concepts aligned with Grades 4 and 7 – fractions, algebra, geometry, logical reasoning

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in English and Math
• Follow structured weekly study plans and adapt to individual learning styles
• Reinforce foundational concepts while encouraging higher-order thinking
• Use visual, verbal, and hands-on teaching methods as per the daily timetable
• Provide brief updates to parents on progress and areas of focus
• Be punctual, reliable, and communicative

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate in English / Mathematics / Education or relevant field
• Prior experience in home tutoring or alternative education (preferred but not mandatory)
• Fluent in English, with ability to explain concepts in simple Marathi if needed
• Friendly, patient, and flexible with young learners
