**Job Summary:** The Flexo Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials on various substrates, such as labels, packaging films, and cartons, according to customer specifications and company quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Machine Setup & Operation** * Prepare printing presses for production runs, including cylinder/mounting plate installation, ink mixing, and substrate loading. * Operate the flexographic press efficiently to meet production targets. 2. **Quality Control** * Monitor print quality throughout production and make necessary adjustments to ink density, registration, and color matching. * Conduct regular visual and instrumental checks to ensure output meets client specifications. 3. **Maintenance & Troubleshooting** * Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the press. * Identify and resolve mechanical or printing issues promptly to reduce downtime. 4. **Production Documentation** * Maintain accurate production logs, material usage records, and quality control reports. * Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workplace safety protocols. 5. **Team Collaboration** * Coordinate with prepress and finishing teams to ensure smooth workflow. * Train junior operators or assistants when required.
