Role Overview: You are being hired as the AGM/Senior Manager - Piping Design to lead the piping design team for oil and gas projects. Your role involves overseeing all aspects of piping design, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Your leadership is crucial in driving innovation, efficiency, and fostering a collaborative environment for creative problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of piping engineers and designers. - Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. - Develop and review piping design specifications and layouts for oil and gas projects. - Ensure all designs comply with industry standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, API). - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other departments for seamless project execution. - Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure design integrity and compliance. - Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to promote continuous improvement within the team. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. - 15+ years of experience in piping design within the oil and gas industry, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role. - Proficiency in piping design software (e.g., AutoCAD, AVEVA E3D, SP3D, AutoCAD plant 3D or equivalent). - Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.). - Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
