Job Description : MongoDB Database & Mail Server Administrator Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented MongoDB Database and Mail Server Administrator to manage and maintain both our database systems and email infrastructure . This role requires hands-on experience in administering MongoDB clusters, ensuring data integrity and performance, while also managing mail servers for high availability, security, and smooth communication across the organization. Key Responsibilities: MongoDB Administration: Install, configure, and maintain MongoDB clusters in standalone and replicated environments. Monitor database performance, availability, and security. Optimize queries, indexes, and data models for performance and scalability. Perform regular backups, restore operations, and implement disaster recovery plans. Maintain database user roles and access control. Mail Server Administration: Install, configure, and maintain mail servers (e.g., Postfix, Zimbra, Microsoft Exchange). Manage user mailboxes, aliases, forwarding rules, and distribution lists. Troubleshoot and resolve email delivery issues. Implement and manage email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and security measures. Monitor mail server logs and performance, ensuring uptime and spam protection. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB administration. Strong knowledge of mail server setup and management (SMTP, IMAP, POP3). Experience with Linux server environments and basic shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell). Familiarity with backup strategies, replication, and high availability setups. Good understanding of DNS, SSL/TLS, and mail server security. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS). Knowledge of cloud-based email platforms like Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. MongoDB certification or email administration certification is a plus.
