Role We are looking for Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Automotive Plastic Trims / Sheet Metal Heavy Fabrication / Fire Alarm Wiring Layouts . The ideal candidate should be proficient in multiple CAD tools and able to work across diverse engineering disciplines. Key Responsibilities Design and develop automotive plastic trims (IP, console, pillars, door trims, garnish parts). Create sheet metal heavy fabrication designs such as frames, brackets, weldments, and structural assemblies. Prepare fire alarm wiring diagrams , cable routing plans, and system installation layouts. Generate 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, and Revit . Perform DFM/DFA checks and ensure manufacturability for molding, welding, and fabrication. Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors for feasibility, tooling, and engineering changes. Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and revision control. Required Qualifications Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Automotive, Bio-Medical,ECE, or EEE. 2-5 years experience in plastic trims , sheet metal , or fire alarm wiring design. Strong working knowledge of CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, Revit . Good understanding of injection molding, fabrication processes, wiring standards, GD&T.
