Description
As an experienced IT professional with over 7 years of specialization in Backup and Storage Administration, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Expertise in backup technologies, including design, administration, and implementation of Hitachi, NetApp, Veritas NetBackup, or EMC Networker. - Management of disk-based backup storage devices, such as Hitachi, NetApp, EMC Data Domain, and Symantec NetBackup appliances. - Configuration and management of duplication/replication using Storage Lifecycle Policies. - Administration, migration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of EMC Storage Arrays (VMAX, VNX 7500/5700/5500/5300, Isilon, Clariion CX-4/CX-3 CX 700/600/500). - Administration of Fabric Switches using CLI and Connectrix Manager. - Hands-on experience with NetApp SAN and NAS technologies. - Management of NetApp 7-mode and Cluster-mode systems, including troubleshooting performance issues by collecting Core Dumps and PerfStats. - Ensuring SAN infrastructure services and operations comply with SLAs. - Coordinating storage and backup maintenance with vendors and customers, following best practices. - Overseeing SAN implementations and daily operations with a focus on productivity, cost control, data availability, and integrity. - Development and maintenance of backup and storage troubleshooting guides. - Conducting regular audits of backup and storage configurations to ensure optimal performance and compliance. - Efficient and effective troubleshooting of SAN/Storage and Backup issues. - Staying up to date with emerging technologies, demonstrating a self-motivated and adaptive learning approach. - Strong team player with excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills. - Expertise in Cloud Platforms (GCP/AWS).
