HVDC is a complex product, there is always more to learn. Model and study the stability of HVDC system through simulations in PSCAD/EMTDC, PSSE, Power factory and design the controllers. E. in EEE with 5+Years Experience) / Master of Engineering - Power System (3 - 8 years experience)/ PhD - Power System (1-5 years experience) You should have extensive knowledge of Power Systems studies and modelling of electrical network /HVDC/FACT. You should have knowledge of Power Transmission Projects (EPC) along with PSSE, PSCAD, Matlab, Power Factory Extensive knowledge of Power Systems equipment and their purpose, such as Power Transformers, Capacitors, Reactors, Instrument Transformer and measuring equipment, Circuit Breakers, Disconnector, Surge Arrester etc. Knowledge in selection, sizing and integration of above equipment based on customer functional specification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
