Histopathology Laboratory Technician

As a Histology Technician, you will play a crucial role in the accurate processing and preparation of tissue samples for histopathology analysis. Your responsibilities will include receiving and logging specimens, preparing tissue samples through various techniques, operating and maintaining histology equipment, performing slide preparations, maintaining records and inventory, ensuring specimen integrity and safety, following standard procedures and safety protocols, assisting in advanced testing, and disposing of biohazard waste in compliance with regulations. To qualify for this role, you should have a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field, with certification or specialized training in histopathology being preferred. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a histopathology lab setting is required, along with familiarity with tissue processing equipment and staining techniques, as well as a basic understanding of anatomy and histological structures. This is a full-time position that involves working in day shifts, morning shifts, and rotational shifts. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience specifically in histopathology. The work location for this role is in person, where you will be an integral part of the histology team, contributing to the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.,
