We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Remote IT Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to delivering efficient IT solutions. Key Responsibilities: Provide remote technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues via phone, chat, or remote access tools. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and system updates. Monitor systems for performance issues and security vulnerabilities. Assist with user account management, password resets, and access control. Document technical issues and solutions in the ticketing system. Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex problems and ensure timely resolution. Guide users through basic troubleshooting and provide training on common IT tasks. Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards. Required Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of IT support or helpdesk experience. Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems. Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or RDP). Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong troubleshooting and multitasking abilities.
