Job Summary

Performance Testing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using
Apache JMeter
.
Conduct
load, stress, endurance, and spike testing
for web and API-based applications.
Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
Monitor application behavior under load and validate system scalability and stability.
Prepare performance test plans, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders.
Support performance tuning and optimization efforts across application and database layers.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with
Apache JMeter
.
Good understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
Experience in testing
web applications and REST APIs
.
Ability to analyze logs, response times, throughput, and error rates.
Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and JVM analysis is a plus.

Preferred Skills

Prior experience working on
banking or financial services projects
.
Knowledge of CI/CD integration for performance testing.
Exposure to cloud-based performance testing environments.
Basic understanding of SQL and database performance concepts.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
