Design mechanical components and assemblies based on engineering requirements and product needs.
Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using standard CAD tools (any industry-standard software is acceptable).
Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and apply GD&T appropriately.
Understand and develop mechanical concepts and translate ideas into manufacturable designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Ensure designs meet functional, performance, and manufacturability standards.
Support prototype builds, design reviews, and root cause analysis when required.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
4+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design.
Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and mechanical calculations.
Proficiency in at least one 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, NX, Inventor).
Good knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Experience in sheet metal design and machining processes.
Strong problem-solving and concept development skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
Experience working in the electronics or related industry.
Familiarity with plastic part design or fixture design.
Exposure to FEA tools or simulation is a plus.
