Job Description

Hiring For ED Facility Medical Coders

Position:

ED Facility Coders

Roles & Responsibilities:

Review and analyze emergency department documentation for accurate coding.
Assign appropriate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes according to official coding guidelines.
Ensure coding accuracy to support optimal reimbursement and compliance.
Work closely with QA and audit teams to resolve coding discrepancies.
Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks as per company standards.
Stay updated with the latest payer-specific and compliance regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum
2 years of experience
in
ED Facility Coding
.
Must hold a valid
CPC or CCS certification
.
Strong understanding of
ED facility coding concepts, E/M levels, and modifiers
.
Ability to interpret and code from physician documentation efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Immediate joiners preferred with
proper relieving letter
from the previous employer.
