This role focuses on building API and webhook integrations, implementing secure authentication workflows, mapping complex incoming data, and ensuring accurate relational database persistence. Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain backend API integrations using Python. Implement and manage complex authentication flows (OAuth2, SAML, SSO). Develop and support webhook-based integrations for real-time data exchange. Map API payloads into internal models and ensure proper relational database storage. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to meet project milestones in agile sprints. Troubleshoot integrations, improve documentation, and contribute to architectural decisions. Support the migration of existing Java Spring integrations into Python. Data Engineering Transform and persist data using PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. Work with complex JSON structures and map them into structured objects. Build Python-based workflows for internal analytics and dashboards. Nice-to-Have Perform web scraping using Selenium when needed. Contribute to AI-related projects (RAG, embeddings, model evaluation). Integrate with healthcare platforms such as Epic or PointClickCare. Requirements: Must-Have 5+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Python. Proven experience building RESTful API and webhook integrations end-to-end. Strong understanding of OAuth2, SAML, and SSO authentication methods. Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server). Ability to map complex JSON data into structured objects. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice-to-Have Java Spring experience (legacy systems). Hands-on experience with Selenium or other web-scraping tools. Knowledge of AI/ML workflows and RAG. Experience with Apache Airflow, AWS Lambda/S3, or event-driven architectures. Background in healthcare integrations or analytics.
