Role & responsibilities Candidate for immediate joining Should have ability to handle buyer account independently.. Should have ability to manage the merchandising process from start to finish. Should have ability to coordinate with design, PD and vendors for sample developments and costings. Ensure daily accurate communications between teams to ensure quality and on time delivery. Ability to explore and grow the vendor bases to grow the product categories with the buyers. Timely order follow up with vendors as per the T & A and maintaining data files accurately for status review. Work closely with the Planning /Compliance/QA Teams to place and monitor progress of the orders. Preferred candidate profile Good Knowledge of merchandising activity, Strong verbal and written communication Ability to understand the different markets and secure customers confidence Must be very proficient in MS office including in-depth knowledge of excel and power point. Should have a decision making and solution oriented approach. Previous export garments woven/knits experience is a plus.
