Job Title : Project Manager Department : Projects Location : Chennai Experience : 16+ Years Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days Interested can share your profile to Kishorekumar.g@hildprojects.com Job Description: The Project Manager is responsible for the complete execution of the project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all technical, safety, and quality standards. This includes end-to-end project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, vendor coordination, and stakeholder engagement. The role demands effective leadership, strong technical and commercial acumen, and proactive problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Project Execution & Completion: Ensure timely execution and completion of the project, including installation, testing, and commissioning. Monitor progress in alignment with milestone schedules, addressing delays or deviations proactively. Achieve monthly project billing and payment collection targets. Planning, Scheduling & Budget Control: Prepare and maintain detailed project plans and schedules in line with tender specifications and client expectations. Monitor monthly expenses, ensuring adherence to budget constraints. Drive cost-saving initiatives in civil and installation works, particularly during contractor/vendor finalization. Site & Field Management: Conduct regular site visits to identify and resolve project issues; submit timely reports to management. Supervise site-level activities, ensuring optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials. Oversee and resolve HR, contractor, and labor-related challenges to maintain work momentum. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with local authorities for land, statutory clearances, DISCOM approvals, and ensure smooth project progression. Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials and services. Communicate and coordinate with clients to meet expectations and ensure smooth handover. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with safety standards, quality specifications, and company policies. Monitor inspection of materials at site for quality, quantity, and damages during transit. Ensure closure of all customer and internal punch points within designated timelines. Commercial & Administrative Responsibilities: Manage monthly billing for civil and installation works and achieve monthly collection targets. Control project costs and ensure claims for insurance and damages are raised and realized promptly. Maintain documentation for project progress, resource utilization, and budget tracking. Risk Management & Technical Solutions: Identify and address critical risk areas during execution and provide effective solutions. Recommend and implement retrofitting and design adjustments as required during execution.
