Role & responsibilities Schedule drivers, plan routes, and manage the daily dispatch of trucks to ensure efficient and timely deliveries. Monitor the progress of all shipments, providing updates to customers and tracking them in logistics software. Serve as a primary point of contact for carriers, customers, and suppliers, handling inquiries, providing status updates, and coordinating with all parties to meet customer needs. Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and coordinate freight logistics for timely deliveries. Ensure all operations comply with transportation regulations, safety rules, and company policies. This can include coordinating truck maintenance and ensuring drivers have the correct documentation. Support procurement activities by collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
