Job Title: Restaurant Captain Location: Highway Haveli Motels LLP Department: Food & Beverage (Restaurant Operations) Reporting to: General Manager / F&B Manager Job Summary: The Restaurant Captain at Highway Haveli Motels LLP plays a key supervisory role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant. The Captain will oversee service staff, ensure top-quality guest experiences, and maintain a high standard of food and beverage service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism. Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers and stewards. Ensure prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all guests. Assist in training new staff and providing ongoing coaching to maintain service standards. Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Handle guest complaints or concerns with tact and professionalism. Monitor table settings, cleanliness, and overall restaurant hygiene. Ensure that staff adhere to grooming and uniform standards. Work closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely service and smooth operations. Upsell menu items and promote special offers or seasonal dishes. Prepare shift schedules and manage staff duties during shifts. Maintain inventory of service items and assist with ordering supplies when required. Report daily operations and feedback to the Restaurant Manager or F&B Manager. Qualifications: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role in restaurant service. Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good leadership and team management abilities. Knowledge of POS systems and billing procedures. Fluency in English and Hindi; regional languages are a plus. Strong attention to detail and customer-oriented approach. Working Conditions: Must be flexible with work hours, including weekends and holidays. Physically fit to stand for long hours and perform light lifting when necessary.
