We are building agentic systems to streamline B2B transactions in international trade. Website: https://highstock.com Role Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Software Developer with a strong background in building and shipping products. You will be building AI systems and technology supporting the marketplace. We use modern web technologies like Nextjs, React, Typescript and Python for backend. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the Founders and Product team to define the technical requirements Think in first principle about problems in streamlining B2B transactions and using technology and AI to automate them Take end to end ownership of building, shipping and maintaining applications. Design and implement robust backend services and APIs using Python and Flask. Be an individual contributor, driving key development initiatives and solving complex technical challenges. Mentor and guide junior developers, helping them grow and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Power user of AI tools, and thinks about product & ops workflows when building Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on shipping products. Expertise in Next.js, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Python, and Flask. Strong understanding of best practices in software development, including design patterns and architecture. Experience in building agentic systems with OpenAI, Anthropic SDKs Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. Passionate about building products and taking end to end ownership Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
