High Performance DSP core Implementation Engineer, Sr Staff

Role Overview: As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be at the forefront of technology innovation, pushing boundaries to enable next-generation experiences and drive digital transformation for a smarter, connected future. Your responsibilities will include planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems, circuits, mechanical systems, and various other cutting-edge technologies to launch world-class products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to develop solutions that meet performance requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Work with multiple SOC Design teams to rollout robust Logic Synthesis, UPF synthesis, QoR optimization, and netlist Signoff flows - Provide implementation flows support and issue debugging services to SOC design teams across various sites - Develop and maintain 3rd party tool integration and product enhancement routines - Lead implementation flow development efforts independently by collaborating closely with design teams and EDA vendors - Drive new tool evaluation and methodology refinement for PPA optimization Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience, or Master's degree with 5+ years, or PhD with 4+ years - 13+ years of experience in RTL, UPF & Physical aware Synthesis for cutting-edge technology nodes, logic equivalence checking, Scripting, and Netlist Timing Signoff - Proficiency in Python/Tcl - Familiarity with Synthesis tools such as Fusion Compiler/Genus - Proficient in VLSI front-end design steps like Verilog/VHDL, Synthesis, QoR optimization, and Equivalence Checking - Knowledge of standard software engineering practices like Version Control, Configuration Management, and Regression is a plus - Must be sincere, dedicated, and willing to take up new challenges (Note: The additional job description section is omitted as it repeats the information already provided in the main job description.),
