Electromagnetics Design & Development Expert
Hical Technologies is seeking an Electromagnetics Design & Development Expert with a minimum of 3 years of experience in electromechanical design, new product development, and production handover . The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of electromechanical components such as servo motors, sensors, actuators, and solenoids for aerospace, space, and defense applications . Candidates with expertise in electrical & magnetic design using FEM tools, analytical methods, and CAD software are highly preferred. Roles and Responsibilities: Electromechanical Design & Development: Design and develop servo motors, electromechanical actuators, solenoids, and sensors for specialized applications. Conceptualize, design, and detail components & Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) for aerospace actuation and autonomous systems . Perform electrical & magnetic design and analysis using FEM tools and analytical methods . Develop new designs from scratch , including manufacturing, assembly, and testing of motors, sensors, and actuators. Technology Transfer & Production Support: Develop and document assembly processes, work instructions, test procedures, and reports for smooth technology transfer to production teams. Support production teams in resolving technical challenges related to electromechanical product assembly and testing. Testing & Qualification: Build test rigs and develop automation solutions for performance testing. Conduct performance and qualification testing for aerospace and defense applications. Utilize servo electronics, data acquisition, and test automation tools such as LabVIEW or similar software . Software & Tools Expertise: Proficiency in Ansoft Maxwell 2D/3D FEA, RMXprt, Speed, AutoCAD, MotorCAD for CAD and FEM-based design. Experience in servo motor electronics, magnetic sensor testing, and automation tools . Key Expertise Areas: Motors: BLDC, PMSM, Stepper, Synchronous, Brushed DC, Induction. Sensors: Hall assemblies, LVDTs, RVDTs, Resolvers. Actuators: Electromechanical actuators, direct drive, gear drive. Solenoids: Push/Pull, Single/Multi-coil, Pressurized applications. Must-Have Skills: Ability to independently design and develop electromechanical systems. Strong electrical and magnetic design skills using FEM tools. Hands-on experience in BLDC and PMSM motor design . Innovative and analytical mindset for problem-solving and new technology development. Experience in aerospace, space, and defense industries .
