As a Business Development Manager or Executive for the Engineering Services department at our company, your role will involve driving growth and generating new business opportunities in the North America and Australasia markets. You will leverage your strong background in engineering services sales to sell specialized services such as Structural Steel Detailing and Design, MEP, BIM, and Rebar Detailing to a wide range of clients including architects, engineering consultants, general contractors, fabricators, and developers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand our presence in North America and Australasia. - Identify, target, and engage prospective clients through market research, outbound outreach, referrals, and industry events. - Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions involving our engineering design and detailing services. - Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and RFP responses to clients across regions. - Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and opportunity development to contract negotiation and closing. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders in the AEC ecosystem. - Collaborate with internal engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure accurate project scoping and seamless project delivery. - Stay informed on local and international construction regulations, BIM mandates, and digital engineering trends. - Manage and update CRM system with accurate sales data, forecasts, and activity reports, and meet KPIs. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field with MBA in Marketing preferred. - 5+ years of experience for Business Development Manager in selling engineering services. - 2+ years for Business Development Executive in selling engineering services. If you have a strong network in one or more target regions, knowledge of international construction standards, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, then you possess the essential requirements for this role.
