JOB TITLE : Officer/Executive – Environment, Health and Safety REPORTS TO : Assistant Manager EHS/ Operations / Factory Manager PURPOSE OF JOB : Responsible for Identification, Planning and Execution of Safety, Health and Environment related activities and implementing ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for Planning and Execution of the Safety, Health, Environment related activities there by creating a pleasant, safe work atmosphere. To function as the supporting at the Site as per the requirements of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 documentation. Prepare EHS performance statistics, prepare audit reports, and present findings to management. Use data to drive continuous improvement initiatives. To ensure Area and Equipment Safety Analysis and the potential areas are identified and suitable counter measures. Deliver training programs to enhance employee awareness of EHS practices and policies. Foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship. Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and improve safety performance. Lead investigations into accidents and incidents. Prepare reports and recommendations for corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Coordination with site safety committee to ensure that proper root cause analysis and corrective actions are taken for any accidents and near miss. Work with cross-functional teams to promote EHS initiatives. Partner with Production, engineering, and management to integrate EHS considerations into business practices. To develop a system for management of contractors, suppliers, visitors and other personnel with respect to safety, health and environmental activities like work permit system adherence, etc., To ensure the statutory requirements related to safety, health and environment such as Pollution Control Board Norms, Factories act etc. are compiled as per requirements. To ensure activities specifically with respect to depletion of natural resources such as electricity, water etc., are identified and implemented. To ensure that the requirements of MDD (93/42/EEC) and MDR (2017/745), ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, MHRA, ISO 45001 and other international standards are followed through relevant SOPs in the Quality Management System. 1. To ensure all Equipment and Utilities are maintained properly. 2. Ensure electrical safety across inside our premises. 3. Ensure and comply Electrical license for the factory. 4. To get feed back from assistants regarding functioning of generator and refrigeration system and other utilities and take necessary corrective and preventive actions to ensure that they are functioning properly. 5. To ensure all machines are maintained as per PM schedule. 6. To implement necessary safety practices and ensures that the facility complies with requirements of safety and Environment. 7. To ensure necessary safety and precautionary measures are taken during maintenance. 8. To ensure that periodical reports are prepared in the agreed formats. 9. To maintain the Scrap yard and Garden area in good condition 10. Handling the House keeping team and garden workers to do their jobs as per their prescribed SOP’s and schedule plan, 11. To ensure that the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, MHRA, ISO 45001 and other international standards are followed through relevant SOPs in the Quality Management System. 12. To ensure that the FOCUS9 systems are properly followed at all levels to ensure date accuracy and timeliness. 13. Such other assignments the Management may give from time to time. 14.
