Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Hyderabad, India. A Senior Scientist in Gene Editing at Helex will be responsible for leading research and development projects to advance the company's gene-editing technologies for renal applications. The day-to-day tasks will include designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying up to date with the latest advancements in genome editing and genetic medicine. Qualifications & Experience PhD in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field, or relevant Master's with exceptional industry experience (over 10 years) 3-5 years of experience with gene editing techniques such as CRISPR/Cas9 or similar technologies, in both cell and animal models Strong expertise in i n vivo studies involving gene editing, including animal handling, dosing, and tissue analysis Proficiency in molecular and cellular biology assays (PCR, qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, Western blot, flow cytometry, immunostaining). Experience in designing studies such as toxicology and PK/PD experiments, and executing internally and in collaboration with CROs Familiarity with GLP practices, IND-enabling workflows, and regulatory expectations for gene editing programs Excellent analytical skills, along with the ability to interpret complex data Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment Publications in peer-reviewed journals demonstrating impactful research Background in renal biology and kidney disease research preferred Experience in nanoparticle delivery systems and lipid nanoparticles is preferred, but not compulsory

Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts & Procurement Executive to manage financial operations, compliance, and procurement processes. The role involves maintaining accurate books of accounts, ensuring timely statutory filings, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to support smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, experience with Zoho Books , and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Compliance Record daily accounting transactions in Zoho Books and ensure accuracy in ledgers and financial records. Perform bank reconciliations , monitor cash flow, and assist with fund utilization tracking. Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, GST). Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual returns on time. Generate and analyze P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements . Support internal and external audits with reconciliations, schedules, and documentation. Maintain project-wise budgets and provide monthly variance analysis and expense reports. Prepare and present monthly MIS reports , supporting overall business reporting to the COO, CBO, and investors. Procurement & Vendor Management Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) , track quotations, and ensure timely delivery. Verify and process vendor invoices against POs and goods received. Maintain organized vendor records and ensure timely payment follow-ups. Coordinate with internal teams to plan and manage inventory and consumable requirements. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance . 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, or procurement. Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables). Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI , and related statutory compliance. Experience with project-wise cost tracking or budgeting tools is preferred. Excellent communication and coordination skills, with attention to detail.
