Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Medical Counselor to join our team and support the hospital's admission process. The ideal candidate will serve as a critical liaison between patients, their families, and the hospital, ensuring smooth, informative, and supportive counseling related to available medical services and admission procedures. Key Responsibilities: Assist patients and their families with detailed information about treatment options, doctors, departments, and hospital facilities. Guide prospective patients through the admission process, including documentation, financial counseling, and procedural clarifications. Maintain updated records of all patient interactions and follow-ups in the hospital's database or CRM system. Coordinate with the medical, billing, and operations teams to ensure seamless admission and onboarding. Handle incoming inquiries via phone, email, or walk-ins and convert them into successful admissions wherever applicable. Build trust and rapport with patients and address any queries or concerns with professionalism and confidentiality. Provide accurate and timely information on hospital policies, insurance tie-ups, and service charges when required. Participate in health camps, hospital promotional activities, or outreach programs if needed. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum Graduation in any stream (preferably in Healthcare, or related fields) At least 1 year of experience in admission counseling or hospital front-desk services. Freshers with strong communication skills and a passion for patient care are also welcome to apply. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language(s). Basic computer proficiency and experience with CRM or hospital management systems is an advantage. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Description 1. Quality Assurance & Improvement Develop and implement hospital-wide quality improvement (QI) programs. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and clinical outcomes. Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with internal policies and external standards. Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement and root causes of issues. 2. Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation Ensure hospital compliance with healthcare laws, regulations and accreditation requirements (e.g. NABH). Prepare for and manage internal and external audits, inspections and surveys. Maintain documentation and evidence for compliance purposes. 3. Patient Safety & Risk Management Promote a culture of patient safety through incident reporting, analysis and corrective actions. Lead investigations of adverse events and near-misses. Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to develop patient safety initiatives. 4. Training & Education Conduct training programs on quality standards, patient safety, infection control and continuous improvement methods. Educate staff on quality tools such as root cause analysis (RCA), Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles. 5. Data Management & Reporting Collect, analyze and report quality and performance data to senior management. Develop dashboards and reports to communicate quality metrics. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with department heads, clinical staff, administration and external stakeholders. Serve as a liaison with accrediting bodies and health authorities. Qualifications: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, Public Health or a related field. Certification in quality (e.g., CPHQ, Six Sigma, Lean, ISO) preferred. Minimum 4- 5 years of experience in healthcare quality management.
