Job Summary:

The Headman is responsible for supervising and coordinating a team of workers at the job site to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements. The role involves managing daily activities, assigning duties, maintaining discipline, and ensuring work quality meets company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of skilled and unskilled workers on-site.
• Assign tasks and monitor daily progress to meet work schedules.
• Ensure that all site activities comply with safety standards and company policies.
• Report daily work progress, manpower utilization, and any issues to the Site Supervisor.
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly used by workers.
• Maintain discipline and teamwork among laborers and operators.
• Coordinate with other trades (masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.) to ensure smooth workflow.
• Conduct on-site training and guidance to improve workers’ efficiency and workmanship.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy as per drawings or instructions.

Requirements:

• Must have 3–5 years of experience experience in the area of Sanitation Services. Shall have self-motivation to inspect and ability to look at the long term effects of sanitation operation before taking action.
• Ability to read and follow basic plans or supervisor instructions.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage labor teams effectively under pressure.
• Basic English communication skills (Arabic knowledge is an advantage).
• Valid driving license preferred.
