Head- Product & Process Research

As the leader of the Product & Process Research team in a global premium drinks company, your primary responsibility will be to develop new ideas and innovations to build brands that consumers love. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive research projects, and ensure timely execution for business growth. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and drive the S&T Project pipeline in various scientific and technological areas to meet current and future business needs - Design and deliver S&T Projects on time and in full for innovation, productivity, and sustainability - Coach, guide, and mentor the team to overcome challenges and meet project timelines - Collaborate with internal teams such as liquid innovation, manufacturing, and sourcing for smooth project execution - Lead science and scale-up programs for spirits maturation projects, alcohol yield process improvement projects, and analytical method development - Drive open innovation projects with external collaborators from industry or academia - Provide scientific inputs for regulatory compliance and DST renewal - Support sourcing function with scientific insights for vendor development Qualification Required: - Ph.D. in Biochemistry - Minimum 15 years of strong industrial research experience in relevant FMCG - In-depth knowledge of process chemistry and biochemistry related to flavor generation from natural raw materials - Hands-on experience in flavor precursor biosynthesis, enzymatic flavor formation, and volatile organic compounds - Familiarity with areas such as biocatalysis, fermentation technology, and systems biology - Ability to lead teams, develop strategic research plans, and achieve research goals The company, a global leader in premium drinks with over 200 brands sold in nearly 180 countries, is committed to achieving the Society 2030: Spirit of Progress goals through its Supply Chain and Manufacturing team.
