Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of AI & CV in Bengaluru, India. The person will be responsible for leading the AI strategy and development within the company, with a focus on designing and implementing cutting-edge AI models for satellite imagery. Day-to-day tasks will include overseeing projects related to computer vision and natural language processing, developing advanced pattern recognition methodologies, and mentoring a team of AI professionals. Collaboration with other departments to optimize AI solutions for geospatial applications is a core element of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Data Science
• Strong Foundation in Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning
• Advanced experience in Computer Vision for image processing
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency with state-of-the-art computer vision architectures (CNNs, transformers) and frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) specialized for remote sensing
• Knowledge of scalable AI model deployment on cloud and edge computing platforms, optimized for real-time or near-real-time satellite data processing
• Hands-on experience with geospatial data formats (GeoTIFF, NetCDF), GIS tools, and spatial databases
• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in the space tech industry, geospatial analytics or Bio-medical image processing
