Head - Marine Operations

Job Description: As the Head of Marine Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the marine activities at Hazira RIL port facility. Your role will involve creating and implementing the marine strategy in compliance with all applicable regulations and ensuring alignment with the organization's growth plan. You will collaborate with leadership to identify new projects and initiatives, set operational plans, and participate in the marine budgeting cycle. You will be tasked with creating policies, processes, and procedures for Marine Operations, covering all areas of activity while ensuring adherence to relevant procedural and legislative requirements. Your responsibilities will include managing port maintenance and operations, including overseeing loading and unloading procedures, transport and storage of goods, pilotage, workboat and tug operation, ship repairs, vessel traffic management, and more. Additionally, you will be in charge of managing the manning, maintenance, and operational activities for vessels (such as ocean-going gas tankers, SPM tugs, and harbor tugs) and tanks (chemical, gases, and oil) at the port facility. The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 18 years of experience in on-shore in-ship and/or port management.
