Head - Data Engineering (Cloud)

Role Overview: You are a highly experienced data engineer with over 20 years of progressive experience, including leadership roles. Your expertise lies in designing, building, and managing large-scale data platforms in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. You have hands-on experience with Apache Spark for distributed data processing and proficiency in Java, Scala, and Python. You have led and mentored high-performing data engineering teams and possess a strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and manage large-scale data platforms in cloud environments - Utilize Apache Spark for distributed data processing - Lead and mentor high-performing data engineering teams - Implement data architecture principles, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts - Collaborate with AWS services for data engineering like S3, Redshift, Kinesis, Glue, and Lambda Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field - Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python - Hands-on experience with Apache Spark - Knowledge of AWS services for data engineering - Strong understanding of data architecture principles and data modeling Additional Details: N/A,
