Head CAM Programming

As a Sliding Head Multi-axis Programming specialist, your primary responsibility will be to write, develop, and optimize CNC programs on SLIDING HEAD machines using CAM software. You will be tasked with developing and optimizing complex CNC programs for Multi-axis machines with more than 6 axes, specifically for new part development. This will involve reviewing and validating technical drawings, conducting feasibility studies, analyzing design specifications, blueprints, and production requirements to determine the feasibility of precision machining components in terms of tooling, machining processes, and manufacturing cycle times. Your role will also include developing and optimizing CNC programs for new parts on various machines such as Turn Mill, VMC, 3 axis / 5-axis machining centers, and Multi-axis sliding Head machines using CAM software (Espirit). Additionally, you will be responsible for selecting appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work holding devices for each machining operation. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 12 years of experience in Sliding Head precision machining programming and part development with low tolerances of up to 5-10 microns. You should possess a strong background in Multi-axes CNC complex programming to provide end-to-end solutions from the concept stage to development, including tools and fixture selection. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and machining process optimization analysis is essential, along with working knowledge of ESPIRIT or any CAM software.
