Job Overview We are seeking a Head Barista for our LIBERTARIO location in New Delhi. This full-time, mid-level position requires a candidate with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. The Head Barista will be responsible for overseeing coffee preparation and quality control while managing and training staff to ensure excellent customer service. Qualifications and Skills Extensive experience in espresso preparation (Mandatory skill) and coffee cupping (Mandatory skill) to ensure top-quality beverages. Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with and satisfy patrons by offering a memorable caf experience. Ability to implement cost control measures to manage and optimize resource expenditure and maximize profitability. Experience in quality control to maintain consistent beverage quality and uphold brand standards in each cup served. Proven leadership capabilities to train and manage a team of baristas, ensuring staff are skilled and motivated. Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and address customer inquiries promptly. Solid understanding of inventory management to maintain appropriate stock levels and order supplies as needed. Adaptability and problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations and ensure smooth caf operations. Roles and Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of the caf, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient service delivery. Coordinate and oversee all aspects of coffee preparation, ensuring beverages meet quality and taste standards. Supervise, train, and mentor barista staff to enhance their skills and motivate them towards exceptional service. Implement and monitor cost control measures to maintain the budget while optimizing caf operations. Maintain inventory levels by managing stock and placing supply orders in a timely manner. Ensure high standards of customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving any service issues. Develop and introduce new coffee menus and promotions to attract and retain customers. Uphold sanitary and health standards, ensuring the caf remains clean and organized at all times.
