HCM OIC Technical Consultant

As an HCM OIC Technical Consultant at our company, you will be responsible for designing and implementing integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Fusion HCM integrations. Your expertise will be crucial in developing BIP and OTBI reports, supporting data flows, and collaborating with various teams. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities and qualifications: Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and support integration flows using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) between Oracle Fusion HCM and third-party or on-premise applications. - Utilize OIC capabilities for various integrations such as REST, SOAP, FTP, FBDI, and file-based integrations. - Develop BI Publisher (BIP) extracts and OTBI reports as per business requirements. - Perform B2B and FBDI integrations, customizations, and file transformations. - Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to gather requirements and develop technical specifications. - Write and maintain PL/SQL code for data transformations and integrations. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to integrations, reports, and data flow. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprints, and CI/CD practices. - Contribute to project documentation including technical design documents and user support materials. Required Skills & Experience: - 10-12 years of total IT experience with specific emphasis on: - 6+ years hands-on experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). - 2+ years experience in BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI report development. - 4+ years hands-on experience in PL/SQL development. - Proven experience integrating Oracle Fusion HCM with external systems via OIC. - Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON, and WSDL. - Understanding of file-based data imports (FBDI) and Web Services. - Experience with Application Composer customizations and data extract processes. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools. Preferred Qualifications: - Oracle Cloud Integration or Oracle HCM certifications. - Experience in other Fusion modules. - Understanding of security and authentication standards. - Exposure to CI/CD pipeline tools and automation for OIC deployments. Soft Skills: - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. - Excellent communication and documentation abilities. - Ability to collaborate cross-functionally. - Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
