We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong Electrical Engineer with a focus in electrical drafting . The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing single-line diagrams (SLDs) , wiring and schematics , as part of our product engineering team. The role plays a key part in ensuring design precision for underground coal mining equipment such as longwall systems, Room & pillar equipment. Responsibilities Prepare and modify SLDs , wiring diagrams , schematics , based on project requirements. Collaborate with the engineering team to translate functional requirements into technical drawings . Maintain and organize revision controls, and drawing records. BOM creation and management in ERP systems. 3D Modelling and detailing as per project requirement. Required Skills: Good understanding of industrial design, field instrumentation, and control logic Hands-on experience in AutoCAD & EPLAN Electric P8 is desirable. Creo 3D working experience is an added advantage. Job Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Aftermarket Lifecycle Lead, located in Chennai. The Lead Lifecycle Engineer will be responsible for overseeing for HBT Aftermarket and Life cycle team Operation/Strategy activities. The role would involve interactions with the External Dealers, Vendors, Engineers & Internal stakeholders to deliver operational excellence in Parts life cycle activities, Pricing, sourcing, Life cycle calculations Aftermarket and Parts order to deliver. Responsibilities: · Provide leadership and technical support for Longwall product lifecycle activities, as well as HBT pricing and sourcing requirement. · Contribute to the technical roadmap and ensure alignment with HBT product strategy · Be responsible for the preparation of critical spare lists of projects, manage life-cycle status and replacement strategy in the Global Parts catalog within the Longwall Product. · Perform Parts obsolescence studies and identify alternate solutions for obsolete parts, collaborating with different functions and product engineering teams around the globe. · Drive Lean mindset in the team and ensure adherence to processes. · Recognize and evaluate sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. · Assess supplier's products to ensure they that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's Cost standards. · Leadership Planning, Pricing of Parts, Inventory Management, Parts Delivery, Supplier Sourcing Education Qualification/ Requirements · Bachelors/Diploma Degree from accredited college/university in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. · 8 – 10 years of relevant experience · Experience in design engineering, field engineering, manufacturing, shop assembly or spares/ replacement parts involvement. Ability to read and write technical specifications. · Writing, Reading and Verbal English fluency required. · Ability to translate and interpret BOM into orders and parts. · Excellence in Customer Service with fair amount of commercial awareness · Ability and willingness to travel as required. · Proficient with SAP or similar ERP systems. · Prior experience with Teamcenter or similar PLM systems. · Aptitude with analytical tools (ex. Excel, Access, and PowerPoint); specific skills should include data mining, pivot tables and data Manipulation.
