This role is mainly responsible for the implementation of Hasbro Quality Assurance policies and procedures within Hasbro vendors. He/she will assess factory quality assurance systems to ensure they are capable of meeting Hasbros requirements. He/she will also support for the assigned products and perform safety and reliability testing as required during each stage of the development process. Responsibilities: Inspection arrangement, Training & execution for GS vendors- India Weekly Shipment Inspection Planning & Scheduling Train factory & new QA staff on Hasbro inspection requirements and process. Perform 1st inspection, correlation inspection after FEP sign off & manage ongoing inspection process at factory, inspection planning & execution, performing inspections, when required. Support Function Perform tests as outlined in the test plan, when required & support for Safety & Reliability testing during product development process. Review product quality related issue with HFE/HISO, QA/Engineering team. Support to the vendors for Physical Lab & SIP program set up. Support for root cause analysis through systematic problem-solving techniques. Vendor Assessment Conduct routine factory visit to assess factory quality assurance systems to ensure they are following & capable of meeting Hasbros requirements. Work with the factories to improve processes and ensure factory is prepared for Hasbros audit requirements. Vendor Performance Monitoring- Prepare routine reports for vendor KPIs with overall detailing. Follow up on corrective action plans during the ongoing inspections. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate Engineer. Minimum of 7+ years relevant experience in QA, preferably in toys industry Knowledge about Plastics processing & testing technology Regulatory and Compliances knowledge, Toy safety standards E.g., EN:71, ISO:8124, ASTMD: F963 and CCPSA knowledge. We are looking for an enthusiastic, technically curious & creative Engineer to assist Sr. Engineers & Managers for the development of our Toys & Games from initial concept to delivery. Responsibilities: To work with the Development team to ensure Cost, Quality & Schedule adherence. Utilizing solid communication, problem solving, mechanical engineering and computer skills; You will function as the engineering lead from initial concept through production start. This includes interfacing with diverse multi-functional teams around the world. As part of the cross-functional development team, you will be actively involved in defining the initial product, managing the builds of proof-of-concept models, exploring new materials and new processes, developing and defining product specifications. Drive the team to project plan adherence. Anticipate, analyse, resolve and escalate project issues. Manage and invent technical solutions and proof of concept mechanisms. Create product and performance specifications. Estimate product costs and recommend cost reduction options. Drive team to cost decisions. Collaborate with design on concepts. To create product specification packages (using Word, Excel & Web based Product development system) to define product content & functionality including cost & delivery targets. Participation in cost review & value engineering efforts to meet business objectives. To support concept proofing & product debugging. Test & evaluate Games & Toys under development. Qualifications & Skills: 4-6 years of experience in Engineering, ideally in the toy and/or consumer goods industry. Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a strong technical know-how. Knowledge of manufacturing techniques, plastic product design & injection moulding and cost analysis. Working Knowledge of CAD (SolidWorks preferred) to review and analysis product designs and develop functional prototypes when necessary. Basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles and methods. Strong time/project management & analytical skills. Desire to build/expand proficiency in this area. Interest in Toy, Games & Consumer Product Developments. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point & MS Outlook.
