Key Responsibilities: - Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements following US GAAP and other relevant standards. - Audit Support: Assist in planning and executing audits, including fieldwork and documentation. - Tax Preparation: Support tax compliance activities by preparing federal and state tax returns. - Account Reconciliation: Ensure accuracy and completeness by performing bank and account reconciliations. - Compliance: Uphold internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance. - Client Interaction: Engage effectively with clients to gather information, address queries, and provide updates. - Continuous Learning: Keep updated with the latest accounting standards, regulations, and best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Attention to Detail: Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in all tasks. - Analytical and Decision-Making Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions. - Problem-Solving Abilities: Identify issues and develop effective solutions. - Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. - Technical Expertise: Possess knowledge of accounting and audit standards and practices. - Accounting/Audit Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting and audit software like QuickBooks, Abila MIP. - Excel Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. - Learning Ability: Willingness and ability to quickly grasp new concepts, tools, and practices. - Overall Suitability for the Position: Demonstrate suitability based on education, experience, and skills. - Attitude: Maintain a positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development. Education and Experience: - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. - Experience: 2-10 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or related fields.
