You should have strong knowledge of WordPress, PHP, front-end technologies, and website optimization best practices. Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to create visually appealing and functional websites. Ensure websites are responsive, optimized for speed, and SEO-friendly. Implement security best practices and troubleshoot vulnerabilities or bugs. Integrate APIs and third-party tools when required. Perform regular website testing, maintenance, and updates. Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in WordPress development. Requirements Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of projects. Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL . Deep understanding of WordPress theme and plugin development . Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Experience with website builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.) is a plus. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have Experience with WooCommerce, LMS, or membership sites. Knowledge of REST APIs and headless WordPress.
