Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer

As an IoT Hardware QA Engineer in the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of hardware components integrated within the IoT ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for IoT hardware and embedded systems. - Conducting functional, regression, performance, and environmental testing of hardware components. - Validating firmware and hardware integration with mobile and cloud applications. - Collaborating with hardware, firmware, and software teams to define quality standards and resolve issues. Furthermore, you will be involved in hardware validation in lab setups, performing tasks such as sensor calibration, connectivity testing (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRa, etc.), and power consumption testing. Your role will also require you to: - Analyze hardware failures and work closely with engineering teams to identify root causes. - Document test results, create bug reports, and track issues through resolution. - Contribute to continuously improving QA processes and automation efforts. Qualifications required for this role include: - A Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - 2-3 years of experience in hardware quality assurance, preferably within an IoT environment. - Strong understanding of embedded systems, PCB testing, and digital/analog hardware debugging. - Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, etc. - Experience with connectivity protocols like BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and firmware testing. - Ability to read and understand schematics and datasheets. This is a full-time position located onsite in Ahmedabad with benefits including Provident Fund. The work schedule is during the day shift.
