Hardware Engineer (Power Electronics)

We are currently seeking an Industrial Design Intern to collaborate with our CAD and engineering teams in enhancing the aesthetics of our motor controllers. Your role will involve shaping the visual identity of our products, ensuring they are sleek, manufacturable, and distinctly Takumi. As an Industrial Design Intern at Takumi Motion Control, your responsibilities will include designing enclosures and housings that are both functional and visually appealing. You will work closely with CAD engineers to guarantee manufacturability, explore different materials, textures, and finishes suitable for automotive-grade components, and contribute to the visual language of Takumi's product line. The ideal candidate for this role should have a background in Industrial Design or Product Design, with students or recent graduates being welcome to apply. A strong portfolio showcasing physical product design is essential, along with familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, etc. A passion for automotive design would be a significant advantage.
