1. Job Summary

Vision Unlimited is looking for a technically skilled and responsible Field Hardware Engineer to provide computer hardware, laptop, CCTV and networking support to our customers.

The candidate will attend customer-site visits, diagnose technical issues, carry out installations, repairs and preventive maintenance, and deliver efficient after-sales service.

2. Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesA. Desktop & Laptop Hardware

• Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware issues.
• Assemble, repair and upgrade desktop computers.
• Install and replace RAM, SSD, HDD, SMPS, motherboard and other components.
• Perform Windows installation, formatting, driver installation and software configuration.
• Troubleshoot operating system and performance-related issues.

B. Networking & IT Support

• Install and troubleshoot LAN and Wi-Fi networks.
• Configure routers, switches and other network devices.
• Resolve internet connectivity and IP configuration issues.
• Provide basic IT infrastructure support to customers.

C. CCTV Installation & Maintenance

• Install and configure CCTV cameras and DVR/NVR systems.
• Carry out camera alignment, cabling and connectivity checks.
• Troubleshoot CCTV recording, playback and remote-viewing issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and service visits.

D. Printer & Peripheral Support

• Install and configure printers and scanners.
• Troubleshoot printer connectivity and printing issues.
• Handle basic peripheral and accessory-related technical problems.

E. Field Service & Customer Support

• Visit customer locations for installation, repair and maintenance.
• Attend service calls and AMC-related complaints.
• Complete assigned service jobs within the committed time.
• Maintain service reports and customer feedback.
• Coordinate with the office on pending complaints, spare parts and service updates.
• Maintain professional conduct and good customer relationships.

3. Required Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
• Practical experience in desktop and laptop repairs.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of LAN, WAN, routers and switches.
• Basic knowledge of CCTV installation and configuration.
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical problems.

4. Candidate Requirements

• ITI / Diploma / Hardware & Networking certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Honest, punctual, disciplined and willing to learn.
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.

5. Performance Expectations

The selected candidate will be expected to:

• Independently handle routine hardware and networking complaints.
• Complete customer-site assignments efficiently.
• Maintain quality and professional service standards.
• Ensure proper documentation of service calls.
• Support the company's AMC and customer service operations.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
