As a Senior PHP Developer, you are responsible for Making Stuff Go. Your role involves building infrastructure to create new products, enhance existing features, fix bugs, and contribute to the rapid scalability of the platform. Your key responsibilities include establishing strong relationships with stakeholders to develop a long-term strategic roadmap for Drupal applications, overseeing and prioritizing tasks for both internal and external developers, supporting and documenting integrations with various backend systems such as CRM and financial systems, analyzing technical requirements, providing back-end/module development for complex enhancements, and assisting in development priorities and sprints. Your performance will be measured based on the number of release deadlines met per quarter, the quality of pitches evaluated by your manager, the quality of code assessed by your manager, and the support metrics including response time and customer satisfaction rating. Your duties will involve creating and nurturing partnerships with business stakeholders, proposing a strategic roadmap for all PHP applications, defining architectural direction to ensure technical solutions align with business goals, estimating work/time based on technical requirements, developing new features and functionalities, assisting in defining sprints and releases, supporting integrations with backend systems, maintaining high-quality and secure code in a source code repository, testing products in real-life scenarios before release, establishing robust backup, escalation, and disaster recovery plans, managing regular releases in an agile environment. Ideally, you should possess 5-10 years of experience with Yii/Laravel/Codeigniter in a similar role. Required skill sets include advanced proficiency in PHP and Javascript, prior experience working on projects at a large scale, proficiency in using version control in a collaborative setting, familiarity with CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS, MySQL database programming, and SAAS platforms, understanding of responsive design principles, experience with API integrations, the ability to iterate and deploy ideas quickly, and exceptional troubleshooting skills.
