You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—targeting B2B clients who want visibility and engagement with our audience. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of B2B sales experience, a consultative selling approach, and a proven track record of meeting revenue targets. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Prospecting & Lead Gen: Identify and research potential sponsors whose brand objectives align with our event demographics. Outreach: Execute aggressive outbound campaigns (cold calling, email, LinkedIn) to decision-makers (CMOs, Marketing Directors). Consultative Selling: Conduct discovery calls to understand client KPIs and tailor sponsorship packages that solve their marketing challenges. Proposal Creation: Design and present compelling pitch decks and proposals that highlight ROI, brand visibility, and lead generation opportunities. Closing: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and deliverables to close deals and meet monthly/quarterly revenue quotas. Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors pre-event, ensuring all contractual deliverables (logos, speaking slots, booth space) are executed flawlessly. The Sales Process (How You Will Work) Research: Map out the market landscape and build a hit-list of top 50 prospect companies per event. Connect: Secure meetings with decision-makers via multi-channel outreach. Pitch: Present a tailored value proposition (not just a generic rate card). Negotiate: Handle objections regarding budget and value; upsell premium inventory. Fulfill: Hand over closed deals to the Operations team but remain the relationship owner for future renewals. Requirements Must-Haves: Experience: 2–4 years of proven B2B sales experience (Media Sales, SaaS, or Event Sponsorship preferred). Track Record: Demonstrated history of hitting or exceeding sales quotas. Communication: Exceptional verbal/written skills; ability to pitch to C-Level executives. Tech Stack: Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or Pipedrive) and presentation software (PowerPoint/Canva). Nice-to-Haves: Existing network of contacts in [Specific Industry, e.g., FinTech/Healthcare/Retail]. Experience in high-ticket sales ($10k+ average deal size).
