About the Role Join our engineering team as a mid-level Mechanical CAD Engineer, focusing on precision part design and documentation for CNC-machined and cast components. You will help shape the direction of our AI product that generates 2D drawings from 3D models by bringing on the table mechanical engineering knowledge and experience with geometrical tolerancing, ensuring designs are manufacturing readiness and adherence to industry standards. Key Responsibilities Performing simulations and tests to validate designs, creating technical drawings and documentation, Apply GD&T per ISO, ASME Y14.5 standards to define form, fit, and function of parts Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to iterate on designs Support design reviews and provide technical input on manufacturability Required Qualifications 2–7 years of hands-on experience in 2D mechanical engineering for products from prototype to production, with a primary focus on CNC machining and casting Proficient in SOLIDWORKS and other CAD software i.e. NX, CATIA Strong working knowledge of GD&T principles ISO or ASME Y14.5 certification is strongly preferred but not mandatory Location - Bangalore - In person Role - (Office Location - Halsuru) Why Join Us at Hanomi.ai At Hanomi.ai, you’ll be part of a pioneering AI-driven engineering solutions company transforming manufacturing processes worldwide.
