Responsibilities: Develop custom WordPress themes/plugins with emphasis on Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) implementations Build and manage complex custom post types, taxonomies, and field groups Optimize MySQL queries and WordPress database performance Implement front-end functionality using vanilla JavaScript/jQuery Migrate/refactor legacy WordPress implementations (Bonus) Assist with Shopify theme customization and Liquid templating Core Requirements: 3+ years professional WordPress/PHP development Expert-level ACF implementation (repeaters, flexible content, options pages) Strong understanding of WordPress hooks (actions/filters) and security best practices MySQL optimization (indexing, query analysis) JavaScript fundamentals (ES6+, DOM manipulation, AJAX) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with headless WordPress (REST API/WPGraphQL) Shopify/Liquid template development experience Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite) Knowledge of React/Vue for custom blocks or admin interfaces
