Haemotology - Male

As a Medical Laboratory Technician in the Haematology section, your role involves receiving and processing IP/OP samples for various tests such as EDTA -CBP, ESR, Blood Group, and Citrate-Coagulation tests. You are responsible for ensuring the correctness of requisition forms, processing samples timely, and carrying out examinations as per standards. Additionally, your key responsibilities include preparing and staining smears, testing and reporting samples accurately, and assessing abnormal results. Your duties also include informing relevant personnel about abnormal results, ensuring timely dispatch of reports, verifying the correctness of typed-reports, and maintaining proper documentation of results. In cases of emergency, you are required to prioritize tests and inform results promptly. Moreover, you will be responsible for internal quality control of analyzers, equipment maintenance, cleaning and sterilizing lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety practices. Furthermore, your role involves preparing daily statistics, complying with laboratory safety and waste management practices, ensuring department cleanliness, and intimation of critical/alert results to concerned personnel. You must also oversee the proper storage of samples, reagents, and hazardous materials, while reporting any issues such as wastage or stock out to the in-charge. Qualifications Required: - Educational qualifications: DMLT, MLT, B.Sc MLT, M.Sc MLT - Relevant Experience: 2-3 years in Haematology section in a Laboratory In this role, you will work full-time on a permanent basis with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund.
