As a CAD/BIM Designer specializing in Piping (Revit) within the Process department, your role will entail utilizing your expertise in Mechanical Engineering to contribute effectively, particularly in the ATF/Pharma sector. With a solid background of 4 to 15 years, you are expected to demonstrate exceptional proficiency in utilizing PDMS/P3D/Revit for equipment and piping modeling. Your skillset should include a superior command of AutoCAD 2D, enabling you to excel in process piping design. You should possess the capability to comprehend P & ID and independently develop piping layouts. Your hands-on experience with Navis Review will be pivotal in your day-to-day responsibilities, which include 3D modeling of various systems such as Fermenter, Bio-reactor, Filtration, and CIP skids. You will be tasked with creating Equipment General Arrangement drawings, Isometrics, and fabrication drawings. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in preparing final piping detail drawings for different stages such as IFA, IFT, and IFC. Extracting Material Take-Offs (MTOs) from PDMS/Plant 3D and generating manual MTO from 2D drawings are among your core responsibilities. Effective communication with team members, coordination across disciplines, and participation in model reviews will be essential for project success. Your proficiency in piping codes and standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, and ANSI, along with familiarity with ASME-BPE standards, will be critical in ensuring compliance and quality in your designs. As a mentor, you will guide trainee designers and contribute to their development. Your core competencies in Revit and AutoCAD will be pivotal in fulfilling the requirements of this role.
