Company Description Hackbit Hackers Academy trains individuals to work in cybersecurity. Based in India, we offer courses in Ethical Hacking, Penetration Testing, Digital Forensics, and Network Defense. Our courses adhere to EC-Council, INE, and CompTIA standards and incorporate practical labs, live simulations, and Capture-The-Flag (CTF) exercises to ensure hands-on learning. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Alappuzha for an Academic Counselor. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for providing academic advising, career counseling, and student counseling. Day-to-day tasks include guiding students in their academic journey, helping them with course selections, and advising on career opportunities and pathways in cybersecurity. The counselor will also assist with educational planning and hold regular meetings with students to monitor their academic progress. Qualifications Develop and execute effective sales strategies to identify and secure new leads through calls, presentations, demos, proposals, promotions, and follow-ups. Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills Strong Communication and Academic Advising skills Education background, preferably in counseling or a related field Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse student population Ability to work on-site in Alappuzha Experience in the field of cybersecurity education is a plus Meet sales targets consistently; failure to achieve at least 70% of the target will result in a proportionate reduction in the basic salary. Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
