Position: Insurance Executive Experience: 1 to 2 Years in Insurance Education: Graduate in any stream Area of Applicability: South Gujarat Base Location: Surat Candidates Preferred from: Banking Sector Or NBFC, DSA Channel Skill Requirements: Ø Product Knowledge Ø Financial Skills Ø Customer Service Ø Confidentiality Ø Professionalism Ø Statutory and regulatory Awareness Ø Negotiation Skill Ø Presentation Skill Ø Team work Approach Ø Communication skills Ø Self-development Ø Computer Skill Role & Responsibilities – Insurance Sales Executive A) Sales & Business Development Generate leads through client meetings, referrals, cold calls, and networking. Understand client needs and recommend suitable insurance products (life, health, general, etc.). Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets. Actively cross-sell other financial products like FD, mutual funds, or investments as guided by Insurance Head. Participate in sales campaigns, promotional activities, and client engagement programs. B) Client Relationship Management Present insurance options clearly, avoiding information overload. Educate clients about product features, premium, claim settlement, and other key terms. Maintain regular follow-up with clients on proposal status, renewal reminders, and after-sales service. Resolve client queries promptly and escalate complex issues to Insurance Head when required. Ensure high customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships. C) Documentation & Process Handling Collect and verify all necessary documents from clients before submission. Fill out insurance application forms accurately and assist clients with the process. Coordinate with the back office for processing and approvals. Track applications, renewal due dates, and pending proposals. Ensure compliance with company policies, government rules, and regulatory requirements. D) Reporting & Coordination Update daily sales reports and submit them to Insurance Head. Maintain updated client records in the company CRM. Share client feedback, competitor insights, and market updates with the team. Work closely with the back-office team for smooth processing and servicing. E) Training & Development Attend product and sales training sessions conducted by the company. Stay updated with new insurance products, industry developments, and regulatory changes. Implement feedback and guidance given by Insurance Head for performance improvement. F) Expense & Conduct Ensure cost-effective client servicing and business development activities. Maintain ethical conduct, transparency, and professionalism in all dealings.
