The Production Head is responsible for overseeing and managing the production planning process to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. This role involves balancing production schedules, material availability, inventory management, and resource utilization to meet customer demand and ensure timely product delivery. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans and schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity planning. Ensure optimal use of resources and minimize downtime. Inventory Management: Monitor and control raw material and finished goods inventory levels, ensuring availability while avoiding excess stock. Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely procurement of materials. Capacity Planning: Analyze production capacity and work with cross-functional teams to optimize production schedules and resource allocation. Proficient Knowledge of machine wise planning as CNC, VMC, VTL, Hobbing Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure that production processes align with quality standards and meet regulatory requirements. Work closely with the Quality Control team to address production issues. Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in the production process and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
