The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework, with strong attention to performance, code quality, and user experience. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code. Develop and integrate front-end elements with server-side logic. Create and maintain APIs for seamless integration with other services. Ensure application security, data protection, and optimal performance. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using RSpec or Minitest. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications. Participate in code reviews, continuous integration, and agile sprints. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in Ruby programming language and Rails framework (MVC architecture) . Strong understanding of OOP principles , RESTful API design , and Active Record . Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and modern front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, etc.). Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL , or other relational databases. Working knowledge of Git , GitHub/GitLab , and CI/CD tools . Understanding of background job frameworks (Sidekiq, Resque, Delayed Job). Hands-on experience with deployment tools like Heroku, AWS, or Docker. Awareness of application security best practices . Strong debugging and analytical skills.
