Job Title: Gym Trainer / Fitness Instructor Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Fitness Center Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Gym Trainer to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will guide clients in improving their physical health and fitness through personalized training programs, ensuring safety, motivation, and progress. The trainer should be passionate about fitness, professional in demeanor, and committed to helping individuals achieve their health goals. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement personalized fitness programs based on client goals, abilities, and medical history. Conduct fitness assessments and track progress over time. Demonstrate proper use of gym equipment and techniques for exercises. Provide motivation, guidance, and feedback to clients during sessions. Monitor client performance and adjust programs as needed to optimize results. Ensure a safe and clean workout environment. Enforce gym rules and regulations. Offer general health and wellness advice, including stretching, nutrition, and recovery. Stay updated with the latest fitness trends, techniques, and certifications. Lead group fitness classes, if required. Requirements: Proven experience as a personal trainer or fitness instructor. In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of physical fitness and ability to demonstrate exercises. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or related field. Experience with specific training styles (e.g., strength training, HIIT, CrossFit, yoga). Nutrition coaching certification.
